farmstore 2024 - opening june 2024 rsvp

Posted in Botanicals, Products and People

big news!

our seasonal farmstore will be re-opening June 2024

where the heck is grimm'sby?

we are located at 598 ridge road west in grimsby, ontario

please book your visit at vauxhallgardens.ca

full disclosure, each visit to our farm will require a completed bio-security form and a $5* booking fee

due to our farms' location, you will be visiting sacred land and strict *oversight* protocol exists. wonderful, yes, but as a commercial enterprise, we are now **gatekeepers** to this robust eco-system and are dutybound to keep it flourishing which makes collecting information from visitors a ***best practice***. we also do a lot of plant research here ****without politics**** in an unforgiving compliance landscape. we collect details of your visit for the sole purpose of contact tracing in the unlikely possibility of a catastrophic event occurring that would deem the information useful. full stop

*$5 booking fee - we hope you can find a suitable time to come and visit - head to 'visit our farm' on our website to start planning. when you reserve a spot, you will receive further information to make your visit unfold seamlessly while keeping our site respectful to the land and our neighbours. if, for whatever reason, you cannot attend as expected please note that this fee is 100% non-refundable/non-transferrable and we hope you can make it here another time soon!

**gatekeepers** a vauxhall farm experience is greatly enhanced because of our location on the niagara escarpment. in order to manifest a retail entity in our specific situation/location, please understand that certain procedures must be implemented and it is very time consuming and expensive to facilitate. we have a closed system so none of the information collected proceeds any further. full stop

***best practice*** know thy farmer and those who work to keep the wonders of nature healthy. respect that the 'red tape' involved in our farm business aspirations is formidable and must be respected

****without politics**** surprise! your $5 booking fee also got you a subscription to our newsletter. it is within this forum that we try to get to the heart of the matter when it comes to plants, their uses, their meaning and, more often than not, the prejudices against them

if you are coming from toronto ...

the fastest way is to take the qew and exit at fifty road. head south up the escarpment on fifty road and turn left on ridge road. we are about 3 kms from fifty road on the north side of ridge

may we suggest ... why not exit the qew at centennial road and head south up the escarpment and turn left on ridge road at the top of the hill

a beautiful scenic drive awaits you!

if you are coming from niagara falls ...

the fastest way is to take the qew and exit at fifty road. head south up the escarpment on fifty road and turn left on ridge road. we are about 3 kms from fifty road on the north side of ridge

may we suggest ... ridge road starts/ends at thirty road in beamsville. why not meander along the escarpment and discover some true niagara flavour!

when you arrive

parking is on the west side of hysert road as far off the road as you can manage please

exercise caution crossing ridge road as it can get busy on saturday's with everyone out and about

enter gate by farmstand and follow directions/signs to farmstore entrance

the fine print

the entire farm is 19+

please, no dogs - we have a very territorial farm dog (she is people friendly tho!)

the key is peace and being at one with the environment - your mindfulness is appreciated

important caveat
